WESTTOWN — A Westtown Township man not only faces drug charges, but was also arrested for retaliating against a witness.
On Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 9:20 a.m., members of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department and Chester County Municipal Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant at a single family home in the 600 block of Tunbridge Road in Westtown Township.
During the search police located and seized illegal controlled substances, packaging material and electronic devices.
The homeowner, Jeffrey Michael Lowden, age 45, was arrested at the home and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communication facility.
Jeffrey Michael Lowden was arraigned on the drug charges by Magisterial District Judge Cabry who set bail at $100,000 unsecured.
The Chester County District Attorney’s Office, Chester County Detectives, Coatesville Police Department, Phoenixville Police Department and Parkesburg Police Department assisted with the drug investigation and arrest.
On September 11, 2020 the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Michael Lowden for retaliation of a witness and harassment in connection with the July 2020 drug arrest. At 8:30 p.m., police located Lowden at his residence on Tunbridge Road and took him in to custody.
Lowden was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Iacocca and sent to Chester County Prison after failing to post $50,000 cash bail.
A preliminary hearing was set on the new case for September 21, 2020 before Magisterial District Judge Goch.
