PHOENIXVILLE — Beginning on Monday, Oct. 7, and continuing through April 2020, Eastern Highway Specialists will be constructing a portion of the Schuylkill River Trail across the Mont Clare Bridge connecting Phoenixville and Upper Providence Township along Route 29, officials announced.

During the project, traffic across the bridge may at times be restricted to one, 10-foot-wide lane between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. At all other times, there will be two, 10-foot-wide lanes across the bridge. A pedestrian/bicycle lane will remain open throughout the project.
