The Phantoms (9-8) scored five runs in the sixth inning, one in the seventh to tie it at 6 and then one in the eighth. The Falcons (13-5) tallied one in the second, two in the sixth, three in the seventh and then five to win it.
Mike Wagner went 3-for-4 with a triple, one run batted in and one run scored for the Phantoms. Dan Gallagher finished 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI and one run. Mike Dettra also doubled for Phoenixville.
Sean Rodrigues pitched the first six innings for the hosts, giving up seven hits and three earned runs with two strikeouts and one walk. Nick Wagner took the loss in relief with two innings, seven hits, four earned runs, one strikeout and two walks.
For Pottsgrove, Tyler Deitrick had a perfect 5-for-5 day with a triple, three RBI and two runs. Joey Cotter and James Madl homered for the Falcons. Cotter also doubled with three RBI and three runs.
Brian Reynolds went the distance on the mound, giving up eight hits and six earned runs with four walks and two strikeouts.
Pius X beats LC
Tom DeAngelis earned the victory in relief with nine strikeouts and three shutout innings as St. Pius X stopped Lansdale Catholic, 7-4.
DeAngelis also went 2-for-2 with a double. Joe Feldman finished 2-for-3 with two RBI. Brian Hartsell finished 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI and Dave Bilinski was 2-for-4 with a triple and RBI.

Phantoms beat Falcons
Phoenixville finished the regular season on a positive note with an 8-2 victory over host Pottsgrove.
Jess Pierce and Jennie Moore homered for the Phantoms (10-8 PAC-10, 11-8 overall). Pierce had a leadoff homer in the fifth inning and Moore a two-run shot in the second.
Pierce went 2-for-4 with three runs and Moore was 1-for-2 with three runs. Bri Saville picked up the pitching victory, giving up four hits and one earned run with three strikeouts and one walk.
Jenna Lieberman stroked three singles for the Falcons. Michelle Groff and Kim Daly did the pitching.
LC nips Lions
Lansdale Catholic needed a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip St. Pius X, 2-1.
Tara McMurtrie stroked the game-winning hit to score Maria Flear.
The Winged Lions, who had just one hit by Brooke Wolfgang, had a 1-0 lead in the third inning against Kate Agnew, who fanned 10 and walked one. Brittany Rechtin pitched a strong game for the Lions (7-9) with five strikeouts and no walks.
Patriots drop Demons
Michelle Kenney pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts as Great Valley defeated Kennett, 3-1, in SCCL action.
Brooke Solomon went 1-for-2 and scored a run for the Patriots (6-4, 7-9). Losing pitcher Kerry Brondell gave up six hits and struck out four.

Phantoms fall to Falcons
Phoenixville fell behind 6-1 at halftime en route to dropping an 11-6 decision to Pottsgrove.
Christianne Persenaire scored two goals for the Phantoms (2-14) while Krista Gerstenberger, Courtney Valko, Ashley Habbel and Nikki Murtagh had one each. Sarah DiSimone collected 13 saves.
