PHOENIXVILLE - The Phoenixville Phantoms football team held its 2012 Youth Football Clinic on the turf at Washington Field on Saturday, July 14, for some 30 youngsters.
Costs went toward refreshments as well as a fundraiser for the high school team.
The clinic was for boys ages 7-13. The clinic ran from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The clinic was conducted by Phantom head football coach Bill Furlong, his coaching assistants and players from the current squad.
It was a non-contact football clinic, providing a postive learning experience and teaching the fundamental skills of football. Skills and drills were taught on offense and defense.
There was also a flag football game at the end of the clinic.
