Villa Maria 237, Sacred Heart 291: Villa Maria junior Grace Dalton claimed medalist honors with a 38 on a par-36 layout at West Chester Golf & Country Club Thursday in a big AACA victory.

Senior Grace Batista took honors for Sacred Heart with a 49.

Villa Maria and Great Valley played to a 242-242 tie Wednesday in a non-league match at Spring Hollow Golf Course in Spring City.

Medalist honors went to Great Valley's Anne Olsen, who fired a 40 over the par-35 course. Villa's Grace Dalton claimed low team score with a 45.


Boyertown 262, Spring-Ford 268: Sean Larkin fired a 2-under-par 45 at Turtle Creek Golf Course, but the Rams fell to the Bears in a PAC-10 match Thursday.

Ryan Foell and Tyler Fox led the Bears with 50s.

Ursinus 2, Lebanon Valley 1: Freshman forward Jean Carlo Cordova (Quito, Ecuado, Spring-Ford) scored the game-winning goal at 84:34 in a victory over the Flying Dutchmen in Annville Wednesday afternoon.

He scored on a cross and also assisted Abe Cabello on the Bears' second goal.

Freshman goalie Michael Alfieri made three saves on eight shots.


Downingtown East 3, Spring-Ford 0: Corey Trego accumulated 23 assists, but the Rams fell to the Cougars in a Ches-Mont League match. The scores were 25-20, 25-18, 29-27.


Valley Forge Christian College 3, Rosemont 0: The Patriots swept to victory by 25-10, 25-8, 25-12 scores Thursday night.

Amanda Gauthier made five kills and also had eight aces and eight digs.
