PHOENIXVILLE — A massage therapist has been charged after police say they received multiple reports of indecent behavior involving clients.
Steven Waldman, 56, of Phoenixville, was arrested after authorities say women reported being inappropriately touched at his place of business at 333 Morgan St. in Phoenixville.
Officers received three reports of alleged indecent contact involving Waldman between November 2017 and September 2018, according to a report released by police.
All three women told police that during massage sessions with Waldman, he touched them inappropriately and they did not ask for that kind of contact, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Following an investigation, Waldman was arrested on Oct. 31. He has been charged with three counts of indecent assault and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 21 before District Judge Joann Teyral. Bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.
Police believe based on the investigation that there may be additional victims.
