The death is being investigated as a suicide, Satriale confirmed.
Satriale said Demo was struck by a Norfolk Southern freight train that was traveling from Allentown to Camden at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday. Demo was pronounced dead at 4:50 p.m.
Demo's body was located near the train tracks east of Columbia Station Robert Ryan's Catering on Bridge Street.
Satriale said there is video footage from the train that may be reviewed by investigators.
