LIMERICK

CRASH

The crash occurred as a result of Charles Becker, driving a 2007 Mercury Montego, was traveling eastbound on SR 422 in the left lane and failing to stop when Felix Cruz in a 1992 Nissan Sentra and Christine Spicer in a 1997 Plymouth Voyager were stopped in the left lane, due to road construction. Becker struck the rear end of Cruz as it was stopped on SR 422 facing eastbound in the left lane. Cruz was then forced intot eh rear end of Spicer as it was facing eastbound on SR 422 in the leftlane at a stopped position. Becker had minor damage to the front bumber and was able to be drivne from the scene safely. Cruz had severe damage to the front and rear bumper and was also able to be drivne for the scene safely. Both the operator and front passenger received medical attention on scene from Friendship Ambulance Medic 2 and Liberty Ambulence Service. The operator and passenger were also transported to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. No other operators or passengers required medical attention. All of the operators were wearing seatbelts and no air bags had deployed.

TRAPPE

SIMPLE ASSAULT

Michael Dillon of Schwenksville and Thomas Jessup of Pottstown became involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, Jessup was assaulted by Dillon causing minor damage. Damage occurred to Trappe Tavern, 416 Main St., Trappe, as a result of the assault.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 15, unknown actor(s) punctured a tire on a gold 1998 GMC Jimmy. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Skippack and reference incident #K03-1678753.

THEFT

On Dec. 14 to 15 between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. a person(s) took a purse from Susan Cleaver, of Collegeville, from 115 Centennial St. in Collegeville, containing a drivers license, Social Security card, Citizan's bank Card and several credit cards including a Discover, Target, Kohl's, Sears and $20 cash. All the cards were inside a brown and blue Vera Bradley wallet (also taken). The second incident occurred at 258 Washington Street in Collegeville. Taken from Mindy Clark, of Collegeville, was a pink iPod nano. Anyone with any information regarding this incident should contact PSP Skippack Trp. Schillinger and reference incident #K03-1678857.
