Marguerite E. "Margie" (Moore) Georgeson, 60, of Austin, Texas, wife of Samuel Georgeson, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2008, after an extended illness. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Marguerite (Garrett) Moore, of Phoenixville, and the late J. Ralph Moore.

A devoted wife, mother, and friend, she made friends easily and held them close throughout her life. Margie was a 1965 graduate of Phoenixville High School and a 1968 graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, in Wilmington, Del. She spent two years as president of the Soroptimist International Club of Washington, D.C. With Soroptimist International in Austin, her efforts focused on helping Safe Place of Austin.

In addition to her loving husband of 21 years and mother, Margie is survived by a daughter, Christine Bartzer of Shippensville, Pa., a sister, Connie Moore of Phoenixville, a brother, J. Ralph Moore, III, husband of Denise Moore, of Phoenixville, and one nephew, Brandon Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, on Monday, July 7, 2008, at 10 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev.
