PHOENIXVILLE — Dancers from a local dance school took part in the 6ABC Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia.

It was the 100th edition of the annual celebration that ushers in the holiday season in the Delaware Valley.

Releve Dance Academy is located at 280 Schuylkill Road in Phoenixville and is owned and operated by Jeanie Chrome.

The dance team was honored to be asked to perform in four numbers in the 100th Anniversary 6ABC Thanksgiving Parade.

The team performed in musical numbers with Macy Gray, Meg Donnelly (from the Disney Channel), Aloe Black and will also be part of the record-breaking 600 person "Cupid Shuffle."

This year's parade featured 23 marching bands, 15 large balloons, 16 floats and 30 stage performances, although high winds kept most of the balloons out of the parade.
