BNG donates Christmas party proceeds to Disabled American Veterans

Bill Pinkerton of DAV Chapter 25 receives a check for the organization from Barbara Ayling of Business Networking Group.

The Business Network Group has donated $1,000 to Disabled American Veterans chapter 25. The money was the proceeds from the Christmas party the organization recently held at The Italian Bakery in Collegeville.

DAV Chapter 25 is an organization devoted to helping and advising veterans. Commander Frank DiSimone said that there are many veterans in the area who are not aware of the assistance and services they are entitled to. The organization also helps veterans in many other ways. For example, the money donated by the BNG is going to pay for a special bicycle for a needy veteran.

If you are a veteran in need of help or advice, or if you know of a veteran in this situation, please contact Commander DiSimone at davchapter25@gmail.com.

BNG is a business network organization that has chapters that meet weekly in Collegeville,

Phoenixville, Pottstown and Indian Valley.

Barbara Ayling, founder of the BNG said that the bigger business network groups were too rigid and far too expensive. She wanted to provide a low cost way for local small business people to network in a relaxed environment with few rules. Information can be found at www.bngs.org or you can reach Barbara at cleaninginsideout@yahoo.com. Visitors are welcome to the weekly meetings.
