Angeline Maine, 89, of Blackwood, N.J., formerly Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in the Camden County Health Services Center.

Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Charlotte A. (Widmayer) Maine.

Ms. Maine was a 1937 graduate of Phoenixville High School.

She was employed for many years as head teller for PNC Bank in King of Prussia and also at the Valley Forge Freedoms Foundation (VFFF).

Ms. Maine was a former member of the First Methodist Church of Phoenixville and a current member of the New Brooklyn United Methodist Church in Williamstown, N.J., volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was a member of the Church Circle and the Valley Forge Baptist Womens Circle.

An artist, many of her drawings were published in various magazines and were hung in the VFFF.

Ms. Maine also wrote poetry, which were published in papers, won contests, and were published in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Maine is survived by second cousin Judith A., wife of William Kohlenberg, of Williamstown, N.J., and third cousins, Donald W., husband of Jennifer Cyr, of Pottstown and Michelle M. Cyr, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, July 21, 2008, at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
