LUDWIG'S CORNER — Chester County's own country music festival will not return to the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show Grounds this year.

Citing health concerns due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the team at Citadel County Spirit USA announced in a statement on Friday that the three-day music festival will be postponed to 2021.

This would have marked the third annual year for the local music festival, which has brought big name country music stars to Chester County to play for audiences of up to 20,000 fans.

The new dates for next year's Citadel County Spirit USA are: Aug. 27-29, 2021.

In its statement, Citadel County Spirit USA said tickets that have been purchased for this year's festival will automatically carry over to next year's festival, and much of the lineup will remain the same; refund policies are currently being amended for those sicking to return tickets, and additional information will be provided in the coming days.

"We appreciate your support in these unprecedented times as we navigate through this global crisis together," the statement read. "If there's one thing we know for sure, it's that we can't wait to dance with y'all again in 2021."
