The first concert of the 69th season of the Main Line Symphony Orchestra will take place on Friday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. at the Valley Forge Middle School on Walker Road and Route 252 in Wayne. Samuel Singer has said “…The Main Line Symphony Orchestra, an ensemble that any mid-sized American city would be glad to claim for its own…”

The new music director and conductor will be Don Luizzi, Principal Timpanist in the Philadelphia Orchestra. And we welcome Paul Roby as our new Concertmaster. The music to be performed will be “Overture to Fidelio” by Beethoven, “Variations on a Theme by Haydn” by Brahms, “Finlandia” by Sibelius and “Les Preludes” by Liszt.
