Pottstown — On Sunday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m., we celebrate our 15th Annual Sanctity of Life Concert featuring the 92 voices of the Pine Forge Choir. All are welcome. The church is located at 507 N. Adams St.

Zion's UCC

Pottstown — Kim Adamson will return as supply minister this Sunday for the 10:15 am worship service at Zion's United Church Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. The sermon for the morning is "Baptizing Christ." Special music will be a piano solo "Frosty the Snowman" played by Kira Bartolini. Zion's will host the Homeless Shelter this month. The sign-up sheet for meals is in the Sunday School building. A busy Wednesday as usual: Morning Wednesday Crew, Afternoon Quilters, Pizza and Ping Pong 5:30 pm, Handbells 6:30 pm and Choir 7:30 pm. All groups opened to those interested. Sunday School for all ages children through adult at 9:00 am.

Brownback's UCC

Spring City — Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road: Join us for our Adult Sunday School at 8:45 a.m. and remain with us for our 10 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. Pastor Mark Stryjak will be leading our Worship and Corinne Griffiths will be our guest organist. Special Music will be offered by the Worship Ensemble and Chancel Choir. Following a Word for All Ages, all children up through Grade 6 are invited to Worship Play; a Nursery is available for all children up through age 3. Remain with us after our Service for our Social Hour in Fellowship Hall, hosted by the Faust family.

St. Paul's UCC

Pottstown — St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, will hold the Installation Service for Consistory Members on Sunday, January 12, at the 9:00 a.m. worship service. Consistory members are Vince Kehrer, Frank Chesney, Deb Cooper, Trudy Perretta, Dave Risko, Barbara Toroney, and Dottie Yocom. Members of the congregation will prepare and serve the Community Meal held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Jan. 16.

St. John's UCC

Pottstown — St. John's UCC located at 11 S. Price Street in Pottstown welcomes Richard Keeler to the pulpit on Sunday at the 10:15 am service. Members continue to collect food for Operation 143 and plans are underway to house the homeless shelter during the month of February. Sunday School classes are offered for all ages and all are welcome.

St. Peter's Lutheran

Pottstown — St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St., Pottstown will celebrate the First Sunday after Epiphany with Worship Services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. and begin using the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Setting three until June. The five newly elected church council members will be installed at either worship service. The elected members are: Cindy Clouser, Ted Conner, Mel Cusick, Nancy Dunning, and Kim High. Pastor Smolik will begin an eight-week study of the provocative video "The New Testament You Never Knew." The Adult/Youth Bible Study Classes are held from 9:30 a. m. to 10:15 a.m. each Sunday. The Evangelism Committee will meet Monday at 6:45 p.m. and Worship/Music Committee at 7:30 p.m. The Senior Luncheon will be at the Douglassville Hotel, Douglassville at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Trinity UCC

Pottstown — Morning worship begins at 9:30 AM on Sunday at Trinity UCC, 60 N. Hanover St. Confirmation class and adult Sunday School begin at 8:30 AM. Pastor Nichole Jackson will share a children's message during worship, which will be followed by Sunday School. Light refreshments will be served after worship. Consistory will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 PM. Trinity card players will gather on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 10 AM.

Coventry UMC

SOUTH COVENTRY — Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road - Our Thrift Shop will be open from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM on Saturday. In addition, the Coventry Quilt & Craft Group will meet from 9:30-11:30 AM. Skills range from beginner to advanced, and newcomers are always welcome! St. James Lutheran

Limerick — St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road. Members of St.James are collecting items which can be used to make hygiene kits which will be taken to God’s Kitchen in Pottsgrove. Donations of travel size hygiene products, such as tooth paste, shampoo, or soap can be brought to the church. The kits will be assembled on Martin Luther King Day during the “Day of Service” which will start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20.

St. Luke's Lutheran

Christ Lutheran
