Ursinus College is seeking a track & field assistant coach. This is a part-time position that will run through June 30, 2014, with the potential for future employment to be assessed at that time. Boys and girls ages 5 to 12 are invited to register to play T-ball, baseball and softball with Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League (SFYAL) during the 2014 spring season. There is a discounted registratioon fee of $40 for T-Ball. Coach Pitch & 6-U Softball Division. Online registration sessions are 6:45 p.m. Jan. 12 and Feb. 9 at the Friendship Firehouse, Royersford, prior to the league general meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.

The Millersville baseball program has announced dates for camps and clinics hosted during the month of January. There are camp sessions available for players ages six through high school seniors, and sessions with focus on hitting, pitching, infielders and catchers. The Millersville University wrestling program is set to host the annual Floyd “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at the college’s Student Memorial Center. The tournament is open to the first 300 wrestlers to register by Jan. 15.
