Our dear owner recently traveled to the U.K. for a visit home when she took ill and is now unable to return to the U.S. We miss her so much. Since retiring in 2008, Swymer has taken 25 trips to remote and impoverished areas around the world in an effort to train teachers in schools and orphanages.

Barkley is a 5-year-old male Plott Hound Mix. Barkley is about 40 pounds and would make a great walking or jogging partner. He is house trained and crate trained. Barkley would do best in an adult-only home and would prefer to be the only dog.

Barkley is neutered and up to date on all shots.

Benji is a 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is extremely calm and pretty lazy. He loves to go for walks, but he is just as happy lying beside you under a blanket. Benji attaches himself easily to people and would do better in an all-female home. He is good with dogs his own size, house- and crate-trained, but would love to sleep in bed with you.
