Dougie is a sweet beagle, about 25 pounds, whose favorite things are belly rubs, sleeping and snacks. Dougie has an adorable tail that wags enthusiastically in response to any attention from women. Dougie was one of 60,000 beagles bred annually for research, and he has come a long way in overcoming the trauma that he suffered.

During a luncheon visit to honor members who had reached their 90th birthday, Dinniman said there are 26 Pennsylvania state senators who have signed on to end property taxes.

<![CDATA[Bridgeport man accused of attempted child sex assault; nabbed in Internet sting]]> NORRISTOWN >> A 37-year-old Bridgeport man has been charged with attempted child sexual assault after he was nabbed by detectives conducting an undercover sting operation targeting alleged Internet predators.

Edward Paul Lippincott, of the 100 block of West Front Street, was arrested Thursday by Montgomery County authorities in the 600 block of Commerce Drive in Upper Providence where he allegedly believed he was going to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex, according to the arrest affidavit.
