<![CDATA[Local elementary school fifth graders act as mentors, tutors for younger students]]> At Schwenksville Elementary, Mrs. Kate Conaron's fifth grade students really enjoyed working with Miss Melody Fennell's second graders during math class recently. This was a wonderful opportunity for the older students to interact with the younger ones. Along with the math support, the fifth graders were able to provide a good example with their work ethic and leadership skills.

<![CDATA[UPDATED: Montgomery County Coroner identifies Mont Clare drowning victims]]> UPPER PROVIDENCE >> The two victims who died in a crash in a canal in Mont Clare late Monday night have been identified.

According to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office, the victims have been identified as 29-year-old Clinton Berger and 25-year-old Lauren Magargal. The Coroner's Office told The Mercury Tuesday that the cause of death for both victims was drowning and that the manner of death was ruled accidental.
