"At this point, we are about three months away from hosting the largest event in this City's history," said Mayor Nutter.

<![CDATA[Route 23 bridge to reopen by November at the latest]]> Phoenixville >> The Route 23 bridge will reopen late November, if not sooner, thanks to a new deal reached Tuesday.

PennDOT announced that contractor J.D. Eckman Inc. agreed to finish work on the Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) bridge no later than Nov. 26. The new contract offers a daily incentive of $3,000 a day for every day the contractor finishes before that date.
