Breitenbach pitched seven innings and did not allow ahit until Demetri Smith led off the seventh inning with a single. He fanned 11 batters and walked three.

In the 18-year-olds' division, Christian Lehning won an 8-1 match. At 14's, Joe Vaile took an 8-4 verdict. At 14's, Andrew Holmberg won by an 8-6 score.

NORRISTOWN - A Lower Pottsgrove man who once served jail time for stabbing a Limerick teen has been sent back to jail for illegally possessing a firearm during an alleged hunting excursion in Limerick.

Michael Evan Fallon, 23, of the 1400 block of North Valley Road, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 11½ to 23 months in the county jail, to be followed by five years' probation, after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of persons not to possess a firearm in connection with the December 2013, incident near Steinmetz and Mill roads in Limerick.

LIMERICK - After walking away from a controlled fire he just put out with a fire extinguisher, Brody, looking at his hands through wire-rimmed glasses, explained how he did it.

"Pull the pin, aim the hose," the young boy explained slowly and carefully. "Then you squeeze."

The aspiring firefighter just learned the skill from real firefighters, who'd taught him and more than a dozen other boys and girls like him.

Pittman started on the pole and bested Outlaw (King" Steve Kinser into turn one as the field trailed with Montieth way back in 15th spot. Lap after lap Montieth picked off the Outlaws before passing Joey Saldana for second on lap 23 and then set his sites on Pittman.
