PHOENIXVILLE - The Phoenixville Area School District is considering outsourcing some of its IT help to a firm in Virginia.

Phoenixville Executive Director of Operations Stan Johnson said nothing is set in stone, but the disrict put out a request for proposal earlier this year that yielded several offers.

PHOENIXVILLE - Citing a lack of cooperation from a pair of owners of the Meadow Brook Golf Club, the Phoenixville Area School Board voted Monday to take "immediate" possession of the property.

Bruce Campbell, half of the CY Group, which owns 50 percent of the golf club, said the district should have all the paperwork it requested and is trying to make him out to be "the bad guy" in the dispute.

She takes over from Rabbi Aileen Hollander, who has served as the congregation's rabbi since 2002. Rabbi Aileen will continue to serve the congregation as the director of religious education.

Pittman started on the pole and bested Outlaw (King" Steve Kinser into turn one as the field trailed with Montieth way back in 15th spot. Lap after lap Montieth picked off the Outlaws before passing Joey Saldana for second on lap 23 and then set his sites on Pittman.

My mother lives in a nursing home close to Copenhagen. She has lived there since 2007, when a stroke put an end to an active senior life. The days pass by watching television, sitting outside on her terrace when the weather allows, and getting visits from her children, family and friends.

PERKIOMEN TWP. - A 17-year-old Collegeville girl was walking on the sidewalk of the Route 113 bridge over the Perkiomen Creek when she was hit around 12:55 p.m. July 8.

The pedestrian failed to look for oncoming traffic and stepped into the path of a 2015 Mazda 6 driven by an 18-year-old woman from Collegeville, police said.
