Phoenixville resident Michelle Kline was honored for her work as a forensic interview specialist with the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (PCA) at the PCA’s 14th Annual Bear Affair on Thursday, May 1.

The Bear Affair is a fundraising event to support the nonprofit PCA and the important work they do for sexually abused children in Philadelphia. More than 500 supporters attended. All brought a teddy bear to donate and this way every kid who walks through the doors of PCA gets to take a bear home. It’s a small token, but it’s something that can help them get through this difficult time in their lives.

Besides the cocktail party, there was a silent auction, raffle, live entertainment and a live auction.
