PHOENIXVILLE >> Police have made an arrest after a bank robbery on Thursday.
According to Phoenixville Police, officers responded to an armed bank robbery late Thursday morning at the Wells Fargo Bank branch at Main and Church streets. It was reported that a masked suspect, wearing gloves and armed with a knife, entered the bank and demanded money.
Police did not immediately elaborate on the incident but stated that no one was injured.
Phoenixville Police added later Thursday that a suspect had been arrested without incident, but they did not identify the individual by name.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in district court Friday.
