Royersford Police warn residents to lock vehicles after recent thefts

ROYERSFORD >> Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after a recent rash of thefts were reported.

Royersford Police posted on their Facebook page that residents should take precautions and lock their vehicles after several thefts of items from vehicles were reported in the borough over the weekend. Police said the thefts occurred Saturday night into Sunday morning and spanned across town including the north and south sides.

Police say most of the vehicles that were affected were left unlocked.

Officers did not specify what items were taken.


“Please make sure that your vehicles are always locked, day or night, and that valuables are removed,” said the department.
