Pope John Paul II HS baseball team will be featured in Skippack July Fourth parade

SKIPPACK The Pope John Paul II High School AAA Baseball State Champions will be featured in a float in the annual July Fourth Parade in Skippack on Friday. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Skippack Fire Company, 1230 Bridge Road.

The Pope John Paul II High School team defeated Harriton High School to win the AAA state championship game on Friday, June 13, at Penn State Universitys Lubrano Park. The game ended just after midnight following a series of rain delays.

In November, the 2013-2014 Pope John Paul II baseball team, including Class of 2014 graduates, will be honored by the Pope John Paul II school community with a formal celebration.
