TENNIS

The Phoenixville Borough Recreation Department will oversee summer tennis clinics from July 7-Aug. 1 (four-week program Monday-Friday), summer tennis teams for boys and girls ages 10-18, and the Orange Crush Tournament Aug. 4-9. The Phoenixville Borough Recreation Department will oversee a number of summer camps: The PAPA Basketball League June 15-Aug. 17, the Total Soccer Camps (ages 3-5 and 6-12) June 30-July 3 at Reeves Park, the Impact Basketball Camp (ages 6-12) July 14-18 at Reservoir Park, Tri Golf (ages 8-12) July 14-17 at Reeves Park and the Total Sports Camps (ages 3-5and 6-12) July 21-25 at Reeves Park.

BASEBALL

The “First Responders Baseball Camp” for players ages 6-14 will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from June 23-27 at the Limerick Community Park. The camp will benefit local fire rescue, ambulance and police departments. Guests will include Bill Hohn (former National League umpire for 33 years) and Bobby Wine (former player/coach/and scout for more than seven decades. The Spring-Ford Baseball Camp will be held the week of July 7-11 at the Upper Providence Township Building Fields off of Black Rock Road. Ages 8-through entering grade 10, 8:30-12:30 daily. There is a registration fee with reduced rate before June 1.
