Prayer Breakfast recognizes community members for positive impact

The 20th annual Phoenixville Community Prayer Breakfast was held last Saturday, April 5 at Phoenixville Area Middle School. The breakfast and awards ceremony is held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. each year and recognizes those members of the Phoenixville area who work to affect positive change and promote cooperative living and diversity in the community.

This year’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award was presented to Cheryl and Barry Messere and the Emma Valenteen Award of “Compassion” was awarded to Irene Lisinski.
