The Alzheimer’s Association’s Delaware Valley Chapter brings Wine Women & Shoes, a national fundraising event, exclusively to Pennsylvania. The inaugural event will be held at the Valley Forge Military Academy on March 30 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.

Wine Women & Shoes is a sophisticated shoe-shopping, wine-tasting, fashion show experience for a cause, featuring Project Runway winner – and Philly’s own – Dominique Streater, who will bring her winning designs to the runway. Comcast Sportsnet’s and Philly.com’s Maria Papadakis will be your emcee, as you sample world-class wines, delectable bites, meet our hunky Shoe Guys and shop ‘til you drop at our strolling marketplace full of shoes and accessories – all for a worthy cause! Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter.

The Delaware Valley chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has Regional or Branch offices in 18 counties in Delaware, South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. The chapter provides programs and services to more than 294,000 individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder, including a 24/7 helpline, caregiver support groups, early stage initiatives, consumer education, community outreach and many more.
