DOWNINGTOWN — The Brandywine Roller Girls (BRG) released their 2014 schedule last week. The home season kicks off on Saturday, March 15 with an exciting double header against the Ithaca League of Women Rollers. Included on the schedule are two highly anticipated and rare international match-ups between the BRG Belligerents and the Helsinki Roller Derby All Stars from Finland, and the Victorian Roller Derby All Stars from Australia. To accommodate the number of bouts, the Brandywine Roller Girls have implemented some changes to the format of their season. These changes include only three Saturday evening bouts; four Sunday morning bouts; and four “private” bouts, which are exclusive to BRG Season Ticket holders. All home bouts will still be hosted at the Caln Skating Center at 4533 West Lincoln Highway in Downingtown.
