WHITEMARSH >> The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board (VFTCB) held a travel rally Monday at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown.

The board’s new mascot — Montgomery “Monty” Fox — made his debut at the rally and will be the face of travel in the county, which keeps with this year’s theme of Faces of Travel.

VFTCB held the rally as part of National Travel & Tourism Week, and more than 100 destinations nationwide also held rallies.
