Live reindeer part of Tri-PAC Christmas show
"Up in the Tri-PAC reindeer paws, out comes good ol' Santa Claus." What? Who let those reindeer loose in the brand new theater? As a matter of fact, it was L.A. Verruni Landscaping, who will be bringing along live reindeer for several performances of Miracle on 34th Street at the Tri-County Performing Arts Center, which runs Thursdays through Sundays, Dec. 4 through 21.
When will the reindeer appear? Well, these divas have been training for years, waiting for their opportunity to upstage the human actors. A finicky lot, they will appear when they are good and ready, and then take a beauty rest between shows.
Undaunted, the full cast of humans will appear at every performance, so no matter whether the actors have two legs or four, you will be treated to a wonderful holiday classic that will put the whole family in the spirit of the season.
And speaking of spirit, you will want to stop by Cutillo's Restaurant for a fixed price 3-course dinner-theater package before or after the show, to compliment your night on the town. This special dinner-theatre package is just $49 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under, and includes your choice of 10 entrees AND your ticket to the show! You can purchase your dinner-theater package by contacting the Tri-PAC Box Office at beth@villageproductions.org or 610-323-6884.
For the kid in all of us, don't miss "Santa's Workshop," being held on Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with crafts, gift wrapping and photo ops with Santa (bring your camera).
You'll get a sneak peak at the new performing arts center, and your child will have a chance to write a letter to Santa.
