The Limerick Fire Company paid a visit to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School Wednesday to discuss fire safety with students as part of National Fire Prevention Week. Deputy Chief Glenn Russell and Battallion Chief Scott Miles also showed the students their ladder truck, and dressed kindergarten teacher Jill Casey in firefighting gear, giving students a close-up look at a firefighter. Casey then demonstrated how firefighters navigate a smokey room.
