Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 5. On that day the Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville is sponsoring their annual Community Day and Chicken Barbecue. This annual event is held in Reeves Park and features many vendors selling flea market items, baked goods, seasonal items and food. In addition, the Kiwanis Club will be selling barbecue chicken dinners. The dinners include a half of a barbecue chicken, two side dishes, dessert and beverage.
Vendor spaces are available for a fee of $15 in advance and $20 day of the event. Those interested in renting a vendor space should contact Mike Speck at 610-933-5499 or Dave Gill at 610-935-1198 to receive a vendor application form. In addition, interested vendors may download a vendor form from the Kiwanis website: www.phoenixvillekiwanis.org. Barbecue chicken tickets may be purchased by contacting Larry Gubanich at 610-935-1383 or by email at email@example.com.
This year the Kiwanis Club is partnering with Holy Family School. Proceeds from Community Day will benefit the Kiwanis Club’s children’s programs and the educational programs of Holy Family.
