With the advent of the 2013-14 scholastic sports season comes GameTimePA.com, a high school sports web site, expanding into District 1 schools as well as the entire suburban Philadelphia area.
The Phoenix Reporter Item weekly newspaper will be part of this coverage that will feature all the high school stories, facts and figures on the web site.
This news feature began in District 3 through the work of the York Daily Record and has now spread in our direction that will include Phoenixville, Spring-Ford and Perkiomen Valley in the Pioneer Athletic Conference.
We will be in association with the many daily newspapers in the area. They include The Mercury in Pottstown, The Norristown Times Herald, The Reporter in Lansdale and other weekly affiliates from Montgomery and Chester counties.
GameTimePA will be a one-stop source for coverage from the schools throughout the entire region.
Along with The Daily Local News and the Delaware County Daily Times providing coverage in the Chester and Delaware County regions, GameTimePA.com will offer the most comprehensive place for District 1 sports coverage.
If readers desire information on teams and players outside the immediate area, they can also check GameTimePA in other counties, namely York, Adams, Fulton, Franklin, Lebanon and Lancaster.
An added benefit of GameTime PA is the availability of standings and boxscores.
The business adventure should be a real plus for the many avid sports fans in suburban Philadelphia who seek the most local scholastic sports coverage they can get.
