Spring City Legion 14U Sandlot team wins Southeastern PA Regional

The Spring City American Legion 14U Sandlot Baseball team recently became the 2013 Southeastern PA Regional Sandlot champions. Spring City went undefeated in the Southeastern National and Regional Tournaments.

At the regional championship game July 25 at Kennett Square, Spring City Sandlot continued its winning streak, defeating the Conestoga Canons, 4-0, in the final.

Spring City Sandlot completed its regular seson with a 20-2-1 record, clinching the National Division title as well in the postseason to boost its overall record to 30-2-1.

Spring City Sandlot is managed by Todd Lachenmayer with assistant coaches Anthony Barletta and Tom Mellon.

Spring City Sandlot Red Sox players are as follows: Brice Abrams, Sam Barletta, Kyle Callahan, Teddy Dylinski, Ethan Hellberg, Thomas Hughes, Troy Lachenmayer, Jacob Mathew, Quinn McKenna, Noah Mellon, Cam Michaud, Ryne Moore, J.C. Reed, Selwyn Simpson and Cole Webb.
