“Orange Crush” tennis tourney held

PHOENIXVILLE - Many finals matches were decided during the annual “Orange Crush” Tennis Tournament Wednesday and Thursday at the Phoenixville High School courts.
Trophies were presented to the champions and runners-up in boys and girls age divisions. The tourney will conclude Friday with the completion of singles and doubles matches.
Results were as follows:
Boys 10-Tom Rutkowski def. John Paul Umbach, 24-12
Girls 10-Lilly Kane def. Kiley Mangialardi, 24-11
Boys 12-Ryan Walker def. Dan So, 8-6
Girls 12/14-Delaney Kent def. Lexi Getley, 8-1
Girls 14-Keri Marini def. Julia Richter, 7-6 (10-8 tiebreaker)
Boys 14-Dan So won by default over Mike Ellis
Boys 16-Nick Vaile def. Austin Starczewski 6-2, 6-0
Girls 16-Delaney Kent def. Carolyn Groener, 8-5
