Police are still seeking the man who robbed an East Pikeland bank last week. On the morning of Thursday, July 18, the First Corner Stone Bank located at 368 Schuylkill Road East Pikeland Township was robbed by a approximately 5’6 white male with an average build and a full tattoo sleeve on his left arm. At approximately 10:30 a.m. the subject entered the bank, went up to a teller’s window and slid a demand note to the teller demanding money from the teller. After receiving the money the subject left the bank and was last seen on foot walking westbound toward Rapps Dam Road wearing jeans and a black tee shirt with black boots.
“We have an excellent picture and we need to have the public’s help in identifying him,” Chief Franciscus of the East Pikeland Police Department said to the Phoenix Reporter and Item on Monday afternoon. “We a re putting up a poster of his picture at the Kimberton Fair and hope that someone there recognizes him.”
Franciscus said that the security footage pictures have been posted onto the website www.idthisperson.com, and that the department has contacted other agencies, including the FBI, as the search for the subject continues.
