Spring City, PA – As its new building project gets underway, the Spring City Public Library has closed its doors at 245 Broad St. in Spring City. However, the library will be reopening at a temporary location at 2 Riverside Drive in the Riveredge Center in Spring City, PA on Monday, July 16, 2013.
Upon reopening, the library will be operating with limited resources. Library computers and access to the library W-Fi internet connection will not be available, but members can still check out books and pick up holds as long as they present a library card.
The library’s Summer storytime will continue, but will be relocated to the Brown Park Pavilion (weather permitting). The Science in the Summer program will go on as originally scheduled, taking place at the Spring City United Methodist Church.
The Spring City Public Library encourages patrons to visit other Chester County Library System locations until it reopens, such as the Phoenixville Public Library in Phoenixville, PA.
The library staff thanks everyone for their patience and understanding during this time of transition.
