Spring-Ford Gold fell to Pine Forge Redís Senior Babe Ruth baseball team, 10-0, on June 8.
Tony Casper had a double and two RBIs for the winners, and Alex Cartacki drove in three runs on 2-for-3 hitting. Craig Eidle doubled as part of his 2-for-3 showing.
On the mound, Brian Black gained the win in the five-inning Ches-Mont League contest.
Upper Perkiomen 10, Spring City 7: Spring City pitchers issued 16 walks that led to the Upper Perkiomen victory June 8 in Twin-County League action.
Jake Breyer picked up the mound win while pitching four innings, giving up six earned runs on six hits and striking out three.
Offensively for the Red Sox, Devin Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and stolen base. Owen Gulati added two hits with an RBI.
Spring City 8, North Parkland 0: Jack McLaughlin hurled a complete-game shutout for Spring City, allowing only five hits to go with six strikeouts.
Spring City jumped ahead with two runs in the first inning on an RBI single by Brad Clemens and a walk by Kasey Caras. Spring City added three runs in the fifth on a two-run triple by Adam Geremski and a run-scoring single by Dawson Moss.
