Yorgey title fight set for June 15

VALLEY FORGE - “Lightning” Harry Joe Yorgey of Bridgeport will be boxing in the main event on a June 15 card at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Yorgey will battle “Vicious” Julius Kennedy of Virginia in a 10-round rematch of junior middleweight fighters for the vacant WBF North American middleweight title.
Yorgey, who began his amateur boxing career with the Phoenixville Area Police Athletic League (PAL) program, will enter the ring with a 26-2-1 record that includes 12 knockouts. He has been ranked as high as number four in the world in his weight division.
Kennedy has a 7-5-1 mark with three KOs. Although he has fewer fights under his belt, Kennedy has also fought against some top-flight foes.
The card is being promoted by Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions of Reading.
In the co-feature, it will be an all-Philadelphia showdown between lightweights Tevein Farmer and Victor Vasquez for the vacant UBC North American lightweight title. Farmer is 10-4-1 with one KO while Vasquez is 16-7-1 with seven KOs.
