SELINSGROVE—Allison Palmer, of Royersford, was one of eighteen students from Susquehanna University who recently presented research at the 2013 annual Eastern Psychological Association Meeting in New York City.
Palmer presented a poster entitled “Interaction on Experience and Attitudes About Romantic Relationships.” In keeping with Susquehanna’s tradition of faculty-student collaboration, Gretchen S. Lovas, Associate Professor of Psychology, served as a supervisor and adviser during the research process.
Established in 1896, the Eastern Psychological Association is committed to advancing the profession of psychology through the dissemination of information in the field. At the annual meeting, professionals and students present research in a variety of fields across the discipline.
Palmer, a senior psychology major, is a 2009 graduate of Spring-Ford Area High School and the daughter of Joanne and the late Patrick Palmer.
