Spring sports practices start

Monday, March 4, 2013, marked the official opening of spring sports practices for Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association-member schools.

Phoenixville will be using its two new softball fields along City Line Avenue at Route 29, for varsity and junior varsity, this spring for the first time and its new baseball diamond later in the season.

Also, the multi-purpose turf field has been completed. The Phantoms’ boys lacrosse squad will use that field while girls lacrosse will use Washington Field’s turf.
