Spring sports practices start

Monday, March 4, 2013, marked the official opening of spring sports practices for Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association-member schools.

Workouts began in boys tennis, baseball, softball, boys and girls track & field and boys and girls lacrosse.

Phoenixville will be using its two new softball fields along City Line Avenue at Route 29, for varsity and junior varsity, this spring for the first time and its new baseball diamond later in the season.
