BASEBALL
Registration for the 2013 season of the Phoenixville Babe Ruth League for boys ages 13 to 15 years will be held at deSanno Field, Wheatland and Mason Sts., at noon on Saturday, March 2. Registration for the Phoenixville Junior Legion teams will be accepted at the same times. All new applicants must provide proof of birth dates. The Phoenixville Youth Babe Ruth League (PYBRL) will hold registrations for its upcoming baseball and softball seasons. The date is March 3. Time is from 1-4 p.m. All registrations will be held at Vic Marosek Fields.
Ages are T-Ball for boys and girls 4-6 years old; boys 7-12; and girls softball 7-16. All new players must have birth certificates. Check out the Web site at PYBRL@.com. For more information, call (610) 909-0088.
The Kimberton Youth Athletic League (KYAL) will conduct registration.
All sign-ups are at the Kimberton Fire Company. Saturday, March 2, will have sign-ups from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a late fee.

BASKETBALL
The Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives (PAPA) C’Jon Saunders 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at the Phoenixville Area Middle School gymnasium.
Signups are at the Civic Center or on line at PAPA1995.org. There will be a cash prize and championship shirt for division champions for men and women. Players must be high school age or older. The tourney is double-elimination so teams are guaranteed at least two games. Cost is $20 per player with four players per team. All participants receive T-shirts.
Registration deadline is March 15. Proceeds benefit PAPA programming.
