BASEBALL

The Phoenixville Youth Babe Ruth League (PYBRL) will hold registrations for its upcoming baseball and softball seasons. The date is Feb. 24 and also March 3. Times are from 1-4 p.m. All registrations will be held at Vic Marosek Fields.

Ages are T-Ball for boys and girls 4-6 years old; boys 7-12; and girls softball 7-16. All new players must have birth certificates. Check out the Web site at PYBRL@.com. For more information, call (610) 909-0088.

The Kimberton Youth Athletic League (KYAL) will hold sign-ups on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All sign-ups are at the Kimberton Fire Company. Saturday, March 2, will have sign-ups from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a late fee.

The Night at the Races will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, and people must be at least 21 years old to attend. This annual tradition is KYALís biggest fundraiser of the year. The Montgomery County Bulldogs U11 Tournament Team is looking for three or four players to fill out their roster for the 2013 season. BASKETBALL

The Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives (PAPA) CíJon Saunders 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at the Phoenixville Area Middle School gymnasium.

Signups are at the Civic Center or on line at PAPA1995.org. There will be a cash prize and championship shirt for division champions for men and women. Players must be high school age or older. The tourney is double-elimination so teams are guaranteed at least two games. Cost is $20 per player with four players per team. All participants receive T-shirts.

Registration deadline is March 15. Proceeds benefit PAPA programming.
