International House of Pancakes is again offering a free stack of buttermilk pancakes to customers on Feb. 5, National Pancake Day, as part of its fundraising for the Children’s Miracle Network.

The restaurant chain is hoping to raise $3 million during this eighth annual fundraising effort. IHOP asks customers to donate money to Children’s Miracle Network rather than paying for the stack of pancakes, with donations of any amount being accepted. “One hundred percent of the donations will help local charities provide vital equipment, life-saving procedures and critical care for sick and injured children,” read a press release from IHOP.

The restaurant chain has raised a total of $10 million for Children’s Miracle Network and other nonprofits over the past eight years it has given out free pancakes for National Pancake Day.
