Pannella, Yenchick, Harrigan make first team football

Ryan Pannella, Phoenixville’s senior inside linebacker and tight end, made the All-Pioneer Athletic Conference football first team on both offense and defense in balloting by the league coaches.

Phantom teammates Ryan Yenchick and Ian Harrigan, both seniors, were also chosen for the first team. Yenchick made it as an outside linebacker/strong safety on defense and Harrigan as a special teams player as the top placekicker and punter in the circuit. Yenchick was also named to the second team offense as a running back.

Phoenixville senior Brian Hyland was selected to the second team as an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman.

Phantom sophomore Zack Gallow made honorable mention as a defensive end, and junior Cole Luzins was recognized as a defensive back.

Spring-Ford senior quarterback Hank Coyne made the first team offense along with senior fullback Yousef Lundi, senior offensive lineman Michael Gilmore, senior offensive lineman Montana O’Daniell, senior defensive ends Zameer McDowell and R.J. Sheldon and junior defensive linemen Mason Romano and Robby Varner.

The Rams also placed senior offensive lineman Justin Meals on the second unit along with senior tight end McDowell. Named to the second team on defense were senior inside linebacker Kyle Hoffner and senior defensive back Ben Schein.

Junior Tate Carter made the honorable mention list on offense as an athlete.

Pope John Paul II was represented on the first team offense by senior wide receiver Chris Veisbergs.

Senior offensive lineman Josh Bildstein and senior wide receiver Jamel Stinson were picked as honorable mention. Junior Johnnie Bildstein made honorable mention on defense as an outside linebacker/strong safety.
