Candles are light under a plaque bearing the names of the victims of the Dec. 14, school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
PHOENIXVILLE — A candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the school shooting in Newtown, Conn., will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Reeves Park.
A group of community members have put together the vigil, which will include music, poetry readings and comments from area preachers. There will also be a roll call of the victims’ names and a bell tolling for each name. Bob Domoroski, one of the organizers, said anyone interested in speaking or performing during the vigil should contact him at 484-687-3000.
The public is welcome to attend.
