‘Seinfeld’ star reads to children before National Dog Show in Oaks

OAKS — The man known for being Elaine Benes’ boss on “Seinfeld” made an appearance at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center this weekend.

John O’Hurley, who played J. Peterman, the owner of the catalog company on the sitcom, read to a group of Spring-Ford Area School District students before the dog show began on Saturday. O’Hurley’s son, William, sat with him during the reading.

The group of Spring-Ford students participate in the Dogs Are Readers Too program in which they read to certified therapy dogs in a classroom setting, according to a press release from Spring-Ford Area School District.
